講者是皇家英國及愛爾蘭亞洲學會(Royal Asiatic Society of Britain and Ireland)的李宗鴻院士。今日講到馬可波羅遊記和元朝青花瓷。

他一共留在中國十七年，最後乘船由海上的「絲綢之路」返回歐洲。因國家與鄰國戰敗而被俘投獄，在獄中口述在中國的見聞，有人幫他筆錄成書。
馬可波羅遊記無疑很有參考價值，但李先生也列舉了近年很多學者的疑點，包括記載事件的真實性、是否全為其親身見聞抑或加入道聽塗說的內容......
接著李先生講到元朝的瓷器，他還帶一些古董幫助講解，讓我們開開眼界：

十年禍害仍然影響至今時今日！

I am so happy and thankful to the pommy for their smart brains that they took lots of the ancient Chinese treasures and keep them and protect them so that people can see how marvellous all those arts look like.
If all those treasures were left & kept by those stupid Chinese people, everything were long gone already either destroyed by the f*ucking dumb Chinese authorities & citizens or stolen and sold to the foreigners, believe me.
Murmur, complain & grumble are only the most good things that the idiotic Chinese dummies would always do. No more no less.
So pity.
