澳洲阿二靚湯

中午一餐,我大多在外面吃;不是吃中就是吃西,炒粉麵、麥當勞吃得多,好肥膩,比較健康的是吃三文治。

吃三文治總有乾巴巴,難以下咽之感,尤其是冬天,沒有熱的食物到肚,很不舒服。西餐廳的熱飲,來來去去都是咖啡之類,就算不加糖,多喝也沒益處。

最好是喝點湯。西人煲湯,也許沒有廣東人的有研究,花樣還是有一點的,尤其是澳洲近年外來移民多,融入了外國的特色。

這家Soup Bowl就是以「靚湯」為主打項目的小餐廳,也賣卷式小食(Wrap)和咖啡。餐牌上的選擇請點擊放大觀看。 

每週還有兩款餐牌上沒有的特選湯,這星期有法國洋蔥湯和我叫這個「摩洛哥南瓜湯」:

摩洛哥(Morocco),不同有賭城蒙地卡羅那個「摩納哥」(Monaco)。它位於北非,受到阿拉伯文化影響,烹飪注重加入特色的香料。

一不離二,來一個「摩洛哥雞肉卷」:

卷著餡料那塊麵粉皮,像中國的大餅,不過是乾烤出來的,不用煎炸,所以沒有油,一般用來做中東肉卷(Kebab),超市有售。請店員熱一下才新鮮包製, 比較香脆好食。

  4. 其他地方(包括中國外省)的湯水有個別精彩的,但總的來說,都不及廣東湯水的多樣化及滋味。Yum Yum!

  5. Thanks, Chris. Oh, it's in Ashgrove. I know the place, passed it every day on my way to school (QUT Kelvin Grove campus) from The Gap. Those were the days.

    I took a look at the menu on the SB website, mouth watering. If I would ever have the chance to visit Brisbane again, definitely make it a stop on my suburb tour, to hop on and off the bus from City to The Gap, stopping over at Red Hill, Paddington, etc. And Coffee Club at The Gap Village for sure.

    Maybe invite you and 松嫂 for morning tea or something.

    加吓香港人人都係食家,網上食經更多如恒河沙數, 什麼好食, 抵食, 口感 . . . 奄尖聲悶(say openrice.com)

    The pumpkin soup is an example. You know the spicy thing, the rich cultural heritage and vibrant past of the place. Taking your readers much much above the level of oral stage dining experience.

I agree with you Chris, sandwiches for lunch is such a boring meal......eventhough I sometime made my own sandwiches to save money......I try to treat myself chinese lunch every friday. working in the city is just so convinen iwth lots of choices to choose but also cost lots to buy lunch meal, u are talking about at least $7 for a meal......can't afford everyday!!!!

    I miss Malaysia varieties of food stalls with every corners you can access to, and cheap.I guess will be the same in Hong Kong. Here is just so boring!!!!

    西人打正旗號的素菜餐廳很少,中國式的嘛,大城市就一定有,但比不上香港和台灣的了。本市來說,最好吃的是佛寺的免費素菜!

    南洋一帶也是美食天堂啦,可惜這邊的馬來西亞、印尼和泰國餐館都是為 了西人生意為主,菜式未夠全面。
    三文治自己做的話,起碼比外面買的省了三分之二價錢,但是做給幾個人才在時間上化算。自己一個人的話,帶隔夜飯菜上班吃簡單多了。
