標點符號的笑話

這兩句中文給人加上不同的標點符號，意思變得相反的故事，很多人都知道的了。

下雨天留客天留人不留
路不通行不得在此小便

以下是一封沒有標點，由一個女子Gloria寫給男友John的英文情信的笑話，原載於1984年的Games雜誌。
 
Dear John I want a man who knows what is love is all about you are generous kind thoughtful people who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior you have ruined me for other men I yearn for you I have no feelings whatsoever when were apart I can be forever happy will you let me be yours Gloria 

女子原本的意思是：

Dear John,
I want a man who knows what is love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we're apart. I can be forever happy. Will you let me be yours?
