相關語最難譯

「相關語」是語言的遊戲，近年很多廣告和流行曲的填詞，都在這方面打主意，香港叫「食字」。創作相關語，一定是緊扣那種語言的特別發音、字形等等，例如以前有個皮鞋廣告標題「喜有此履」諧音「豈有此理」，一個潤膚膏廣告口號是「手足無燥」使人容易記憶。傳統一點的俚語有「要雙糧，無商量」。

要翻譯的話，很多時候是「不可能的任務」了。

下面一個笑話，文字顯淺，最考功夫就是那幾組相關語，怎樣用中文表達英文原文的意思：

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with three young mothers and their small children. 'You all have obsessions,' he pointed out.

To the first mother, he said, 'For instance,you are obsessed with sweet stuff . You've even named your daughter Candy.'(＊1)
He turned to the second mum: 'Your obsession is with money. Again, it manifests itself in your daughter's name, Penny.'(＊2)

At this point, the third mother took her little boy by the hand, and whispered,

'Come on Dick, this man is just talking rubbish. Let's get away and pick your little brother Willy up from school.(＊3)
